Description

Folio 122: Charles Fanshaw to Sir Leoline Jenkins. Has had a preliminary discussion about the negotiation of a new commercial treaty, but Portuguese affirm they merely desire the amendment and clarification of the old one (1654). His efforts to get back an English renegade captured by the French from one of the four Sally corsairs they have taken or destroyed. Death of the Count of Castelmelhor's brother.
