Folio 118: Charles Fanshaw to [Sir Leoline Jenkins]. Ratifications exchanged (f.117). Protocol problems over precedence, on which he asks for guidance. Requests that his credentials as envoy and powers to negotiate a new commercial treaty may be revised but back-dated to 20 Nov. 1680, when he left Plymouth.
