Folio 29: Francis Parry to Sir Joseph Williamson. Imbroglio with the Portuguese Customs and other difficulties due to the defective wording of the 1654 Treaty. Treaty should be renegotiated in accordance with the project sent home in 1672 (S.P.89/12, f.69, 72). Portuguese nervous of another invasion by Spain in the not very distant future. Naval and shipping news.
