Folio 150: Francis Parry to Sir Joseph Williamson. Orders sent to Viceroy of Goa to prepare for war. Changes in court and government offices. Disastrous storm in the Alentejo and the Algarve, which has done damage estimated at three million cruzados. Has protested to the government about Dutch privateers taking English goods from Portuguese caravels.
Date and place: 1672 Oct 1/11 Lisbon.
