Folio 116: Francis Parry to Sir Joseph Williamson. Action taken on the two Dutch prizes (f.110) brought in by the French, one of which had a pass from the Duke of York for corn, but was laden largely with spices. Has now received the official account of the battle of Solebay, which gave great satisfaction to himself and the Court.
Date and place: 1672 July 9/19 Lisbon.
