Folio 110: Francis Parry to Sir Joseph Williamson. French have brought in two Dutch prizes. Dom Francisco de Lima has escaped from prison, and his huge fortune may be confiscated by the Prince. Has received a written copy of the London Gazette of May 23, but asks for more regular official information to counteract the very active Dutch propaganda, `which we cannot confute'.
Date and place: 1672 July 3/13 Lisbon.
