Folio 108: Francis Parry to Lord Arlington. Long discussion with the Marquis of Fronteira about possibility of Portugal joining in the war against the Dutch, and if so, on what conditions. Similar discussion with Secretary of State, who said they hoped to come to afavourable decision by September. Portuguese also ask for a passport for two Hamburg ships freighted with naval stores for them in Holland, and satisfaction concerning the Custom-House claim near Ormuz (f.95).
