Folio 69: Francis Parry to Lord Arlington. Is sending home a detailed project for a new Anglo-Portuguese commercial treaty, framed so as to eliminate all doubts and ambiguities, and including all the privileges claimed by the English and inserting a few new ones which would be useful. Portuguese may send an envoy to Holland to demand the restoration of Cochin and Cannanore.
Date and place: 1672 May 4/14 Lisbon.
