Folio 117: Francis Parry to Lord Arlington. French reportedly soliciting for leave to trade in Portuguese colonies, which they are unlikely to get. Nor are the Swedes, who are likewise trying. No progress made in the Marquis de Castel Rodrigo's suit for restitutiondespite Parry's repeated solicitations. Antonio de Sousa de Macedo not received at Court (f.116). Fortification activity on the frontier.
