Folio 104: Sir Robert Southwell to Joseph Williamson. Arrest of a French engineer on suspicion of trying to poison the Prince-Regent and his consort. Wreck of the Brazil ship Sacramento off Bahia with great loss of life. Reinforcements and a new governor for Mazagão. Appointment of new judges. Prince has promised to pay the English soldiers in full, but some of his ministers are making difficulties.
