Folio 66: Consul Maynard to Lord Arlington. The Cortes have voted and the Prince-Regent has accepted the sum of 400,000 cruzados a year. Embarkation of French troops and Count Schomberg. English troops not yet paid, and the amount due to them is still in dispute. Hopes to return to England soon.
Date and place: 1668 May 19/29-June 3, NS Lisbon.
