Folio 188: Marquis de Sande to Charles II. Asking that English fleet, commanded by Vice-Admiral Lawson, should return to guard Portuguese coast in April 1664. Also asks for an additional 300 horse and 800 or 1,000 foot. Requests authorisation for Governor of Tangier to send military and naval help if necessary, and for payment of English auxiliaries to be made out of the Queen's Portion.
