Folio 174. Memorandum [anon.] inscribed 'Valid reasons moving the majority of the Protestant estates within the circle of Upper Rhine to propose a Protestant 'condirectorium' '. Deals with the statutory basis for the appointment of a circle directorate of religious parity as it exists in all 'mixed' circles, e.g. those of Swabia, Franconia and Westphalia and demonstrates that if there is no Protestant condirectorium, it would, particularly on occasions of conventions, when agenda and recesses are drafted, be to the disadvantage of the Protestant estates.
