Folio 147. The directorates of five 'upper' circles [but not of that of Upper Rhine] to landgrave Charles of Hessen-Cassel. Ask him to assist in the [defence] work of the circle of Upper Rhine whose delegates are at present sitting in convention of which he has so far 'ratione condirectorii', an issue whose consideration might have to be postponed, kept clear, and to move certain estates in the Westerwald and others that are belonging to the circle of Westphalia, to do likewise. Offer their assistance in removing any remaining differences.
