Folio 96. [Provisional] agreement between the writ office of the circle of Upper Rhine and those estates who, taking their stand, have allied themselves to the [estates of the] electorate of the Rhine palatinate. In the face of the danger threatening the circle, having at present no Protestant prince as director, and order not to hold up the defence and association work, they will 'durante hoc conventu' and 'salvo jure quocumque', particularly with regard to the Westphalian peace instrument and the recess of the imperial diet of 1654, ratione paritatis religionis act according to their best knowledge and understanding. NB: The agreement was communicated to the remainder of 'protesting' estates and it remains to be seen how they will declare themselves.
