Folio 163. To [Gregory] King [herald, genealogist and registrar of the College of Arms (see List SP 105/84, passim, but particularly f. 209)]. Will answer certain queries raised in King's letters, especially one of Nov 14, partly arising from King's working together with Colt, and partly connected with his practice, i.e. on behalf of some clients, when he has made investigations and consulted Schweinfurt and Stratford. - Describes the nature of his mission, his status as an 'amphibious creature' and his comparative inactivity. - Mentions Schöning's impending transfer to Vienna, and the false pregnancy of the electoress.
