Folio 148v. To Trenchard. Gives an account of his initial activities and formal contacts in the electorate from his arrival at Dresden, confessing to some 'uneasiness' about 'where to get the 50,000 rixdollars.... due this fair' by the treaty concluded last February, and says that he has 'hinted' at it in his dispatch to the Pensioner on whose request he is also acting for the States general until Ham's arrival.
