Folio 22. To 'Mr Stratford junior' [Francis Stratford's nephew]. Covering transmission of a bill upon Mr Fowles of £500 for credit he, Stepney, had been given by Stratford jun. on Mr Northleigh [Unidentified] half of which he used to equip himself at the Leipzig fair, in consideration of the sum and what he owes him in balance upon the last account. Believes the bill, 'as the exchange goes will not much overdoe what is betwixt us'.
