Folio 11v. To 'Mr Storer' [London]. Notifies him of his arrival and asks him to contact his mother. In the elector's absence, expects now to meet Swinford [i.e. Schweinfurt] to receive from him the papers of the late Sir William Colt. - Refers to presents made by Storer to Vernon and [William] Bridgeman [under-secretary] which were well received. Will write to [Francis] Stratford [government banker at Hamburg] for sending a present to Blathwayt. Asks him to present his compliments to Montague whom he will write after having seen Schweinfurt. - Adds: 'You will have heard that the King has ordered the payment of my ordinary and extra-ordinaryes which I suppose you must have received before now: and I am impatient till I have clear'd with Messrs. Stratford & Cossart and have from you the ballance of my account to see exactly what remains' [Editor's italics]. Wishes to be remembered to his 'friends in the city' and to those at the 'Black Boy'.
