Folio 6. To Vernon. Acknowledges letter of June 27. There does not appear to be any truth in 'strange stories of revolutions' in Asia. Nothing of the kind has been reported by the ambassadors in Turkey. Adds a decipher of a letter from Paget received 'this morning'. PS. Refers to a previous letter to the secretary [Trenchard] in which he omitted certain remarks about Kinsky, which he could well make to Blathwayt and Vernon, but not to the secretary to whom he is not [yet] known.
