Folio 76. Memorial to the Emperor by the Spanish ambassador marquès de Borgomañero. Polemizes against the obstructionist attempts by the papal nuncio at Vienna [Archbishop Sebastiano Antonio Tanara] to obtain the co-operation of the imperial ministers towards a separate peace for Italy. His intrigues are in no way backed by the King of Spain and have no foundation in what he takes from the dispatches of the Spanish ambassador to the Vatican [Don Louis de la Cerda y Aragon, margues de Cogulludo] duque de Medinaceli.
