Folio 95. Copy of a letter concerning the amours of Margraff Charles of Brandenburgh with the comtesse of Salmour'. Relating the sequence of incidents around May 29, connected with the attempted marriage of margrave Charles to countess [...] de Salmour, widow, stopped by the intervention of the duke of Savoy [Victor Amadeus II] who sternly rebuked the margrave for his impetuous attitude and actions, reminding him of his duties to his brother and sovereign, and confining the lady to the convent of Ste. Croix. Unsigned; Recipient not given.
