Folio 93v. To Blathwayt. Nothing has been heard of any success of count Reuss [in disgrace and under house arrest] 'by running post after the elector'. Reportedly, however, the 'sentinels' posted before the door of his house at Dresden have been removed 'which looks like he was quite out of service'. Birckholtz has received 20 horses and 2,000 dollars towards his equipage 'in consideration of the short warning ... given him towards making the campagne'. Remainder largely similar to ff.93 [regarding margrave Charles of Brandenburg's love affair] and 91 [concerning bishop of Würzburg's bond in 20,000 dollars lent him by the late Lt-gen Weib[e]num. Still hopes to return to Vienna under any title or character. PS.: 'If my project of Vienna shou'd not take effect, you will please to remember, Sir, that for 3 years I have been look'd upon as heir apparent to Ratisbon'.
