Folio 79. To Cardonnel. Refers to two letters received, one from Blathwayt and one from Cardonnel, both dated June 2 s.n. The latter has apparently informed him that it will be too late for him to go to Flanders, while the former 'beleives it is not yet too late to contrive my going to Vienna if Ld. Lexington will make it his desire to his Ma[jes]ty to have me there'. In the meantime he is to wait, at Dresden, for further orders 'which perhaps may be long a coming ...' .
