Folio 46v. To Egar. Refers to his letter to Poley (see f.45v, ante) which he encloses with the request to forward it, after reading it, to Poley if the latter has gone to the country. Should Vernon speak to him about the matter, he, Stepney, knows that Egar will forget nothing that may be to his advantage. Asks him, further, 'to manage what I have writt concerning the offer made me of an establishment at home'.
