Description

Islay, reporting that Falconer, despite being transported, spent only one day in the West Indies and then took ship for home and is thought to be in Ireland; also on the Convention of the Royal Burghs' plans for spending public money; and on the Jacobites' anger at the Duke of Hamilton's acceptance of the green ribbon [Order of the Thistle]
