Note
E314/70-72: Files, bundles and loose vouchers subsidiary to the accounts of ministers and receivers appear in great profusion throughout E314 and E315. The items here brought together were retrieved from E314/1-7, 15, 17, 20, 22-24, 34, 37, 39, 40; and from Exchequer Miscellanea. They include receipts for stipends and pensions paid, and bills for the repair of tenements, parks etc. Most relate to accounts presented before the General Surveyors or the Court of Augmentations, but there is an admixture of material (not readily identifiable) which might well belong with the private and monastic papers listed in boxes 74-76 and 79 below. [Documents subsidiary to Chamber accounts, and those concerning ordnance and the victualling of the navy under Henry VIII have been transferred to E101].
