Description

Folio 97: Wich to Carteret. Letter received from Guy Dickens informing me that a secret resolution taken by Court of Sweden, desired HM's good offices to end war with Russia. Guy Dickens has accepted this in HM's name and said that since meeting of the Diet much was changed in Sweden. Drentell has been sent back to Stockholm with answers to Nolken's letter. General ?Rumyincov and Kuez Golicyn appointed to treat for a peace with Sweden at the congress at Abo the place chosen by the Czarina.
