Folio 77: Carteret to Wich. Ministers herewith of Division in the Commons on HM's land force. Majority for continuing 16,000 troops on the Continent 120 in the affirmative. HM now persuing the support of House of Austria. Nothing is malicious reports that pursuit of the mentioned views would not be passed to Parliament. Dated Whitehall, 7 Dec 1742.
