Folio 36: Finch to Harrington. Account of end of trial of State prisoners. Capital punishment of all changed by Czarina into perpetual banishment. Estates confiscated. Orders returned. Senator Streschnoff count Osterman's brother made Waywode of district where exiles will live. Commissary of war Lapokin made Governor of Archangel and Nelpuef governor of Samara on the Volga. Count and Countess Osterman left today. Dated St Petersburg, 19 Jan 1742.
