Folio 24: Finch to Harrington. Three months will be up on seventh of next month if Russia designs to drop the treaty. News that majority of Swedish prisoners died en route to Moscow confirmed. Secret made of result of judgement on prisoners: Czarina's journey to country house not a good sign for them. Rumours of prisoners madness. Some capital sentences of principal prisoners commuted to perpetual banishment. Particulars to be published. Dated St Petersburg, 16 Jan 1742.
