Description

Folio 103: Finch to Harrington. Further interview with Count Osterman concerning Declaration on Equivalent. If alterations wanted I would wash my hands of the whole affair. Today he signed the treaty word for word the same as my copy received from Duke of Newcastle. Now only waiting silver boxes. Sir Cyril Wich's baggage at Kronstadt. I shall await his arrival here. Field Marshal Munnich miraculously recovered is giving a ball to celebrate primarily the Regent's anniversary. Prince Repnin marrying countess Golovkin tomorrow at court. Dated St Petersburg, 7 Nov 1741.
