Folio 97: Finch to Harrington. Long reports of interviews with Brevern and later Count Osterman regarding Equivalent and subsidies. No conclusion and embarrassment over declaration made to Prince Scerbatov on this subject. Believe better to produce original article, as approved by HM, but will dispute this matter as long as possible. Dated St Petersburg, 3 Nov 1741.
