Folio 91: Finch to Harrington. Compliments to HM on his birthday. Count Osterman pressed hard for specification of the hundred thousand pounds equivalent and `desired it out of regard to himself, in order to stop other people's mouths', meaning Count Golovkin cannot yet assure you that I will save HM this money, but will try without losing the treaty. Change here soon of Foreign ministers. Plan that Prince Scerbatov will be succeeded by Count Solms. Bestuzev who you left in Hanover is to go to Poland and Keyserling to remain in Saxony. Korff staying in Copenhagen and Cernysev to go to Madrid. Dated St Petersburg, 31 Oct 1741.
