Folio 61: Finch to Harrington. Swedish officers taken prisoners, complained at conduct of Count Lowenhaupt. Persian ambassador made his entry with 14 elephants and Indian and Negro slaves and a retinue of 2300 Persians. De Swartz received the states answer to the Czar's notification of the Swedish declaration of war. He also received a copy of the Danish King's requisition of Swedish King's good offices in the dispute about Island fishery. After such a step Denmark cannot be expected to fulfill its engagements with Russia. Dated St Petersburg, 29 Sept 1741.
