Folio 43: Harrington to Finch. Negotiation agreed between HM as elector and French king without any treaty, concerning Electoral troops and French troops. HM sends this circular notification in order that any false reports may be contradicted postively. HM took for granted your departure from St Petersburg and that you had ample instructions for winding up all negotiations. Only reason for Count Osterman delaying you could be the exchange of ratifications. Dated Lintzbourg, 4 Oct 1741.
