Folio 14: Finch to Harrington. Mr Meggot, an old friend is bringing HM important news which arrived from Field Marshal Lacy today, about complete victory of Russians over the Swedes. Account of actions, braveries and casualties. Description of aftermath in Russian court. Suggestion of English and Danish squadrons joining Russian fleet and ending war with their superior force. Dated St Petersburg, 25 Aug 1741.
