Folio 163: Harrington to Finch. HM expecting results of your conference with Count Osterman with conclusion of sending squadron when able to do so, without alternative subsidy. News of declaration of war by Sweden should make Osterman less difficult. HM has no objection to your setting out as you now propose. As to presents, HM leaves it to your discretion only expecting the distribution to follow precedents with all frugality. Dated Hanover, 16 Aug 1741.
