Folio 128: Finch to Harrington. Bestuzev will possibly be obliged to stay in Stockholm until the Diet is over and my successor may not be here before my departure. The Grand Admiral, Count Osterman has engaged about 50 sailors in Holland who arrived here on a Dutchboat having been brought to by a Swedish frigate. Osterman thinks this hiring an excellent thing but others laugh, as the sailors cannot speak the language and are only to be pilots. Dated St Petersburg, 14 July 1741.
