Folio 118: Finch to Harrington. Turkish ambassador had conference with Count Osterman on 3 July and yesterday de la Chetardie visited the Turk. People here equally uninformed as they were in Vienna when de Mirepoix visited the Turkish ambassador there. d'Alion likely to follow de la Chetardie. Will send away my books tomorrow. Rest of belongings will probably be divided amongst several ships; hemp being bulky cargo. Dated St Petersburg, 7 July 1741.
