Description

Folio 113: Finch to Harrington. Profound thanks for allowing me to expect letters of revocation. Account of audiences - descriptions of that of Great Duchess is being printed. Bestuzev as eager to leave Stockholm as I am to leave here. He will try to wait on you inHanover soon. If my successor is not here when I am ready to leave, I shall seal up everything and leave it in Mr Bell's hands. Count Lynar seems fixed to marry Lille Julia Mengden. Prince Generalissimo presented me to his brother, the Duke of Courland today. Dated St Petersburg, 4 July 1741.
