Folio 179: Finch to Harrington. Court made to Grand duchess by foreign ministers, some in mourning, some not. De la Chetardie aims to return to Berlin. Account of audience with prince of Brunswick. All members of late regent's family are at liberty. The debts of maids of honour paid and clothing given them. Expenses of journey to be defrayed. General Bismar arrested at Narva and General Biron arrested at Moscow, surrendering his sword, saying he always condemned his brother's conduct and now he must be unfortunate forever. Dated St Petersburg 22 Nov 1740.
