Folio 273: Rondeau to Harrington. Despatch from Munnich says he is 20 miles approximately from Chotczin, which he plans to attack. Army healthy, wanting neither provisions or water not forage or ammunition. News expected in 3-4 days, I hope good, for if he is beaten more than 50,000 regular troops will be lost and countless Tartars, Cossacks and Kalmucks. Please confirm plan that HM is to arrange marriage between Princess Mary and the nephew of the King of Sweden, prince of Hesse Cassel. Dated StPetersburg, 1 Sept 1739.
