Folio 95: Harrington to Rondeau. HM hears France planning alliance between Czarina and elector of Bavaria, suspected to contain hidden design. Send information on progress of any of this negotiation, in relation to the motives, views and stipulations of such a treaty. HM also wishes to know further details of victory gained by Saribeg Oglow over the Turkish army and what is happening in Persia whence our intelligences differ greatly. Dated Whitehall, 1 May 1739.
