Folio 49: Rondeau to Harrington. Duke of Courland gave me to understand Danes in the wrong concerning ff.19 and 45. He says Denmark soon to settle treaty with Great Britain and receive subsidies from HM and not from France. Notwithstanding orders sent to Fawkener to abstain from acting as mediator, he has resumed that function. Baron Keyserling, with a present of 10,000 roubles from Czarina, has returned to Warsaw and Fleming followed him. Dated StPetersburg, 3 Feb 1738/9.
