Description

Folio 296: Rondeau to Harrington. Letter of condolence on the death of the queen. Field Marshal Munnich here and desirous of ending the war. If Ottoman Porte will send their envoys to Nemirow or elsewhere to begin negotiations, war may soon be concluded. Dated St Petersburg 17 Dec 1737.
