Folio 221: Rondeau to Harrington. Confirmation that Czarina has no plan to make any settlement in any part of His Catholic Majesty's lands in America. Some such proposals were made by Captain Opie, otherwise Speedwell, and Cagnoni to Count Osterman, who, finding the duke of Courland showed no approval, thought no more of the project. Dated St Petersburg 15 Oct 1737.
