Folio 61: Rondeau to Harrington. Count Lowenwolde on departure confided that the Czarina is ordering troops to march to Germany to assist the Emperor on the Rhine. King Augustus asked to assist with spare Saxon troops. Czarina also hopes that no mediation congresswould be held without her ministers being present. This court resolved to prevent King Stanislaus from ascending throne of Poland. If it fails, France, Turkey, Poland and Sweden would conclude an alliance. Dated St Petersburg 1 Mar 1734/5.
