Folio 56: Rondeau to Harrington. Field-Marshal Munnich has left for Poland, but doubt if he will arrive before hostilities end. Count Potocki expected to submit with his troops. King Augustus agreed to make him great General of the Crown after the pacification. Prince Lubomirski has been promised this post but agreed to annual pension of 27,000 crowns, 15,000 from Augustus, 12,000 from Czarina. Czarina will not send troops to Emperor until she sees what HM will do. Also Count Biron is displeased with Vienna, for he bought the county of Wartenberg in Silesia for 38,000 crowns, wishing to build a Lutheran church there, and heard through Count Lowenwolde, who was recently in Vienna, that permission has been refused. Emperor's affairs will go slowly if he does not have Biron's consent. Dated St Petersburg 22 Feb 1734/5.
