Folio 164: Rondeau to Harrington. Czarina presented Forbes on his departure with diamond ring worth 5,000-6,000 roubles and 6,000 roubles in money as mark of esteem. Approval of draft treaty and power to sign it and instructions as to titles anticipated. Count Lynar says his master has ordered army in Poland to go to Danzig. If Russians and Saxons join Field-Marshal Munnich before 10,000 French troops expected, the French will be beaten and the siege of Danzig continue. Admiral Gordon instructed to sail to Danzig and attack French squadron. Account of fleet. Indifferent crews and officers. Dated St Petersburg 11 May 1734.
